No, GenVote Festival is strictly non-partisan and educational. We are focused on civic learning and democratic participation without supporting any political party or candidate. Our mission is to educate young voters about their rights and responsibilities, encourage electoral participation, and foster innovation in democratic processes – all in a neutral, inclusive environment.

We are committed to inclusivity. At our main event, we provide sign-language interpretation for stage programs, captioned videos, accessible pathways and seating, and dedicated volunteers to assist participants with disabilities. All youth and students aged 18-35 from any educational institution or background across Bangladesh are welcome to participate. Whether you're a university student, recent graduate, young professional, or first-time voter, you can join our hackathon, creative contests, main festival, or educational sessions. Different events may have specific eligibility criteria detailed on their respective pages.

Hackathon team registration closes on December 9, 2025. Creative contest submissions (Reels and Cartoons) are accepted until December 10, 2025. Main event registration remains open until December 14, 2025, or until capacity is reached. Early registration is recommended as spaces are limited for some activities.
