What is the GenVote Festival?
GenVote is a campaign that helps the young people of Bangladesh understand their role in shaping the country’s future.
Under the theme “Educate, Innovate, Engage!”, the festival gives young innovators a platform to develop creative, tech-driven ideas that support civic engagement, inclusion, and democratic accountability in the upcoming national elections and in the future.

HACKATHON
Creative team competition with a two-day residential workshop in Gazipur, Dhaka and the opportunity to pitch selected projects at the GenVote Festival on December 15.

MAIN FESTIVAL
A day-long youth festival at Aloki (Dec 15) featuring hackathon pitches, winning creative showcases, mock polling, flash mob, Democracy Ludu, talks/debates, and a closing concert. Learn, create, and celebrate civic participation!
